WRStitle adds a little blue link titled WRS to the right of an article title. Click it, and a Wikipedia Reference Search (WP:WRS) will open in a new tab.

A Wikipedia Reference Search (WP:WRS) should not be regarded as a substitute for the normal, minimal searches expected in WP:BEFORE. Also, be aware that WRS relies heavily on English sources. If you think non-English sources exist, perform all the traditional searches including site:.xx searches (where xx is an appropriate ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code) extra carefully.

Installation instructions[edit]

Put the line

{{subst:js|User:Sam Sailor/Scripts/WRStitle.js}}

in either your common JavaScript file or the JavaScript file of your current skin, save the page, and bypass your browser cache.

June 2018 note: The function importScript was deprecated in the July 2017 release of MediaWiki 1.29, and mw.loader is prefered.[1] But importScript is not obsolete and still works, in case you prefer the old method of manually installing with {{subst:iusc|User:Sam Sailor/Scripts/WRStitle.js}} or using ScriptInstaller.
